2008 All-Stars Soccer Schedule

We HIGHLY encourage children to have proper shoes and shin guards. We really do hope to build our kids skills and the proper gear is helpful. Of course no child will be turned away if they don't have soccer shoes or shin guards.
I am trying to work with a local sporting goods store to supply us with shin guards at a discounted price and hopefully I will know more in the next week. I will let you know when I find out. We will also be wearing the orange soccer shirts from last season. ONLY if your child needs a new shirt because theirs does not fit or they are a new player do you need to fill out the shirt order form. I will need shirt information prior to Monday October 6th to make certain we have jerseys for the season. The registration fee for soccer will be $20. Check made payable to Autism AllStars. I have attached the participation waiver that needs to be signed and turned in for each participating child prior to them getting on the field.

The format for this season's play will be 20-30 minutes of skill building basics and then 30 - 40 minutes of game-type play. Hopefully, we can teach the players to dribble and pass the ball, as well as kick it in the goal. We do hope to have volunteers as we've had in the past, but please remember we are a full-parent-participation organization even with the volunteers. Since I am unsure if the concession stand will be operating for the first week we will supply snack and drinks for the 1st game. Hopefully the concession stand will be open for the 2nd game and we can return to our "drink/snack" routine provided by Odell Rec.
